4. Blackstock South
Directly south of Blackstock North is Blackstock South. It’s also a residential area, but you can find a large park, Johnson Creek Park, in the center of the neighborhood as well as shops and restaurants along Saviers Road. This Oxnard neighborhood has a lot of single-family homes, condos, duplexes, and some apartments.
5. Channel Islands
The Channel Islands neighborhood is a gorgeous waterfront area with amazing views of the Channel Islands. There’s plenty to do in this area whether you have lunch at a waterfront restaurant, take a gondola ride, or hang out at the Seabridge Community Dock. Channel Islands has a lot of condos, single-family homes, and apartments. And many of these homes have views of the marina or water.
6. Downtown
Downtown Oxnard is the vibrant and historic heart of Oxnard. There are plenty of businesses, local restaurants, and parks along the main streets. Whether you’re looking for a new shop to check out, a seafood or Mexican restaurant, or a new cafe, you can find it all in Downtown Oxnard. Downtown Oxnard is the most walkable neighborhood in the city, with a Walk Score of 94. The Downtown Oxnard neighborhood has some historic homes, apartments, and single-family homes.
