A variety of items from Tom Brady’s personal collection will be heading to auction in December, including his Super Bowl LI playcard wristband, his 2000 NFL Combine shirt, his final college jersey and several high-end watches. The items will all be part of a Sotheby’s auction titled “The GOAT Collection: Watches and Treasures from Tom Brady” on December 10.
“I’ve been so fortunate to have such an amazing journey in my career, and these watches and collectibles really capture those unforgettable moments and all the hard work behind them,” Brady said in a Sotheby’s press release. “I’m excited to give fans and collectors a chance to own and cherish these special pieces from my journey just like I have.”
The item in the collection with the highest estimated value at $400,000-$800,000 is a white gold and diamond-set flying tourbillon Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch. It was designed for Brady and features his name and a blue seven in Roman numerals, signifying the number of Super Bowls he won over his career. He wore the watch for his Netflix roast. (Some might say that brings down the value of the watch, though.)
Also in the auction is the T-shirt Brady wore when he “ran” the 40-yard dash at the 2000 NFL Combine before being selected in the sixth round by the New England Patriots. Brady’s 5.28-second time went down as the slowest by a quarterback for more than a decade (he went on to run a faster 40 earlier this year at age 46). Brady’s Combine effort has become something of a meme over the years, symbolizing the inauspicious start to his legendary NFL career. The shirt has an estimated value of $100,00-$200,000, according to Sotheby’s.

Before that Combine shirt, Brady donned another item in the auction — his final Michigan Wolverines jersey, worn in a 35-34 Orange Bowl win over Alabama. Brady threw for a NCAA career-high 369 yards and four touchdowns in the game, which included what would be a winning TD pass in overtime. This jersey carries an estimated value of $300,000-$500,000.
One other unique item in the auction is the playcard wristband that Brady wore during the Patriots’ historic Super Bowl LI comeback victory against the Atlanta Falcons. The wristband includes a variety of plays for 3rd-down situations with names like “G Spark STG 72 Gotti Snow” and “China Boot Rodeo Dimple.” Brady was named MVP of the game after leading his team to come back from being down 28-3 with 466 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. The wristband is estimated to be worth $120,000-$180,000.
