Brady Hart, a four-star quarterback who was committed to Michigan for the Class of 2026, has switched his commitment to Texas A&M and reclassified to the Class of 2025.
Hart’s flip is another ripple from Michigan’s recruitment of Bryce Underwood, the No. 1 prospect in the 2025 class. Underwood, a five-star quarterback from Belleville, Mich., flipped from LSU to Michigan last week.
Hart, who attends Cocoa (Fla.) High School, was the No. 6 quarterback and the No. 98 prospect in the 247Sports Composite rankings for the Class of 2026. He told On3 he plans to sign with the Aggies during the December signing period.

Michigan has lost two quarterback commitments since ramping up its pursuit of Underwood. Carter Smith, the No. 15 quarterback in the composite rankings for the Class of 2025, decommitted from Michigan earlier this month and committed to Wisconsin on Sunday. Hart, a 6-foot-5 pro-style quarterback, committed to Michigan after a visit in June. Both players were recruited by Kirk Campbell, Michigan’s offensive coordinator.
Hart fills a need for Texas A&M, which did not have a quarterback in its 2025 class after five-star prospect Husan Longstreet flipped to USC earlier this month. His decision is more evidence that Michigan will be building its offense around Underwood, who is set to become the highest-rated quarterback to sign with Michigan in the era of recruiting rankings.
