Yesterday brought the first two practice sessions of the Dutch Grand Prix weekend. Let’s bring you up to speed, starting with the morning FP1 session.
And for those hoping for the pre-break fun continuing, there were promising signs as Lando Norris topped the timesheets in his McLaren.
His session-leading 1:12.322 was two tenths of a second faster than Max Verstappen as Lewis Hamilton (+0.684), Carlos Sainz (+0.752) and George Russell (+0.820) completed the top places from the 60-minute opening practice.
A wet and windy start meant things got off to a slow start, but the track was much drier come the end.
