This crop of covers just fills me with joy!
Cover design by Rita Frangie Batour
Sarah: The “Wearing a big giant dress on the cover” trend is very old and established but I LOVE the use of texture to resemble embroidery here
Kiki: Harper’s always got the gowns!
Claudia: She sure does!! A recent one had a gorgeous emerald green one!!
Amanda: We’re still unpacking at the house, but this just makes me want to unearth my Harper St. George books and dive back in.
Sneezy: I love the use of embroidery too! Plus the plant pattern sets the atmosphere really well with the forest setting.
Cover art by Guy Shield
Amanda: I just think this one is really sweet and looks like normal people in a normal setting. Bonus points for the bar cat!
Elyse: It looks so cozy.
Sarah: The composition with the wall at the top drawing the eyes down is so smart.
Sneezy: Awww They look like they’re having a good time. Also the cat’s tail looks so swishy!

Sarah: Sapphic witches with gorgeous cover art.
Is it a skull? Is it a keyhole? IS IT BOTH.
Amanda: Okay that’s is beautiful.
Lara: That’s gorgeous!
Sneezy: Reminds me of my hot lesbian garden witch friend. One time she was telling me her garden was a mess and she wanted to work on it soon. Then she shared a picture and I didn’t understand what she meant. It looked great! Then she was like, “Oh, thanks, but it only looks like that because everything is blooming.” Excuse me. Ma’am. EVERYTHING blooms for you???

Amanda: They’re about to smooch on top of a stack of pancakes and I just love that.
Elyse: Now I want pancakes.
Shana: Me too.
Sneezy: I’ll get a batch going.
Sarah: I don’t even like pancakes and I want pancakes. And blueberries, which I do have. Will bring!
Amanda: I also love the little hearts on the top of her crew socks peeking out from her boots.
